I chose to do Man vs. Nature for my concentration series. Within my photos, I will attempt to capture pictures with texture, lighting, or movement. In addition, I will have a new and old, or life and death theme for my images. I chose this concentration series because I like nature, and my local area is rural and full of natural life. Also, I like to capture texture within my images, and both man-made objects and natural things contain much texture.

Week 1
For my first images, I tried to capture texture and lighting in my photos. I practiced with the lighting and scenes on my camera to see how it works with my theme.
Your first and third photo have really cool texture on them. I like how in the first photo the macro acrea is the rim of that object, it guides my eye along because the background is blurred. The color in your third photo makes me think it's either a crumpled leaf or rust that is eroding a metal cylinder.
